Faisalabad, Pakistan News :- Protesting powerlooms workers put a factory on fire while four of them got injured as the factory guard opened fire on them in Faisalabad on Tuesday.
The workers were protesting against the non-increment of wages. Workers of the powerlooms located at Sidhar by-pass, took to streets and chanted slogans against the factory owners. Some furious workers tried to lock down the factories when a guard opened fire injuring some 4 workers. On this, the fuming labourers put a factory on fire. The injured have been shifted to Allied Hospital, while the fire brigade is trying to douse the blaze. Heavy contingent of police also rushed the site.
