According to a government spokesman, a residential locality in Arada area of Tripoli was targeted in the NATO raids.
Reporters were taken by Libyan government officials to the residential area destroyed during the attack.
Talking to reporters, Libyan deputy foreign minister Khaled Kaim said that civilians are being intentionally targeted by the NATO forces. The reporter were also witnessed a body being pulled out of the rubble of a destroyed building
At a local hospital, reporters were shown three bodies, including a child, which government officials said were people who had been killed in the air strike.
According to a reporter, Arada is known for anti-Gaddafi sentiment.
