Anger Builds Up Against Load Shedding

LAHORE,PAKISTAN NEWS: The worst power crisis continues across the country as duration of load shedding has reached to 18 hours from 12 hours.

The prolonged load shedding irks citizens and makes their lives miserable. The current production of electricity in the country is 9,900 MW whereas demand has been reached to 14,700 MW. On the other hand, PEPCO is facing shortfall of 4,800 MW.

The duration of load shedding in cities has reached to 11-14 hours as rural areas are facing 18 hours load shedding. The consumers have demanded PEPCO to take practical measures otherwise they will protest.
