At Least Five Killed In Fresh Karachi Clashes, Violence continues in Karachi where in Orangi Town, at least five people have been killed in clashes between rival political groups. Violence erupted between armed groups on Friday night mainly in the Qasba colony area of Orangi Town. On Saturday 16 people died in exchange of fire between the rival groups. Today the situation also remained tense, a heavy contingent of police and rangers have been deployed in the outskirts of the area, but armed groups continue to target each other.
Locals are complaining that police have not been deployed in sensitive localities. The Edhi old home was also taken over by some unidentified gunmen. In some areas police have unofficially asked armed political workers to guard their areas.
