RAHIM YAR KHAN: A girl was killed while another six of her family members sustained injures when the roof of their house collapsed in Tehsil Liaquatpur of Rahim Yar Khan district, . Hospital sources said, the house was under construction as another room was being built on the rooftop of house when suddenly the roof collapsed, killing an 18-year-old girl namely Sameena, bound to be married after 10 days, while other six of her family members received wounds.
According to eyewitnesses, the residents of the nearby areas participated enthusiastically in relief efforts; rescuing those injured persons from rubble and had them hospitalized hurriedly.
The relatives of the injured family have complained of shortage of lifesaving medicines at hospital and are suffering miserably, sources told media.
