KARACHI: Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Nadeem who was injured in an ambush on Thursday was succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital here on Sunday .Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Nadeem, leader of Ahle Sunnat WalJamaat- was injured in an ambush in Nazimabad locality of Karachi on Thursday morning , in which one of his sons Muaavia Nadeem was killed.
Rashid Nadeem, another son of Maulana Nadeem and a guard were also injured in Thursday attack.
According to a spokesman of Ahle Sunnat WalJamaat the attackers pumped three to four bullets in the body of Maulana Nadeem which damaged one of his kidneys and the doctors removed that kidney. The doctors also performed another surgery yesterday and called next 18 hours critical for his life, the spokesman added.
