KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday called for action against the alleged land mafia, drug mafia and criminal elements in the city. Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee, Dr. Farooq Sattar while addressing a press conference at Azizabad here said the target killing incidents can be stopped, if action against land mafia be taken continuously without any compromise.
Condemning the alleged attack on the unit office of MQM at Gulistan-e-Johar, Sattar, who is also the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistani called upon the government that the culprits involved in the alleged attack on MQM unit office be arrested and given punishment.
The MQM leader said the law and order situation in the city has been disturbed due to incidents of terrorism.
He appealed to the MQM activists to remain calm and foil all attempts to disturb peace in the city.
Among other notables, MQM leaders, Raza Haroon and Mrs. Nasreen Jaleel were also present.
