ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has cancelled his scheduled visit of Karachi and summoned the members of Sindh cabinet to Islamabad for an emergency meeting, sources said.
According to sources, President Zardari was scheduled to meet Sindh ministers in Karachi to discuss development projects in province, National Finance Commission Award, Value Added Tax and tensions within Sindh coalition.
The sources of Muttahida Qaumi Movement have said that the MQM members of Sindh cabinet were not invited to Islamabad for the meeting.
