1475 people lost their lives in flash floods: KairaPakistan News: Federal Minister for Information Qamar Zaman Kaira informed that the government and the Army is actively involve in building temporary bridges to restore the road links which were washed away due to recent flash floods.

He was speaking at press conference in Islamabad where he said that the federal government has accumulated vaccination to prevent the spread of water-borne diseases. He added that 1475 people lost their lives, over 2052 people were injured while at least 970,520 houses were destroyed.

Kaira informed that as many as 73 helicopters were participating in the relief operations. He added that road link between DG Khan and Muzaffargarh has been restored.
