Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with army chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at the White Army. The meeting was held to exchange views with regard to ongoing training by the military in the strength of the elite. The meeting also focused on measures to prevent future terrorist activities in the state of Punjab.
In addition, they also reviewed the ongoing development projects in the public sector in the state of Punjab, and discussed ways to improve the contributions to projects of the National Action Committee and FWO.
After the meeting, speaking to the media at the airport in Islamabad Shahbaz Sharif said his meeting with the commander of the army was useful. He said that detailed discussions on the security situation in the state of Punjab
