Pakistan News: Different incidents of firing claimed at least 4 lives in Karachi on Monday. Residents of Liaqat Abad blocked the road after the killing of a man allegedly by police firing during a dacoity.
According to police, 28-year-old Adnan fell prey to a firing incident in Sarjani Town, Sector 7, as a result of a dispute between members of two political factions. Whereas a man identified as Saeed Iqbal got injured in the incident. Both the deceased as well as the injured were shifted to hospital. Heavy contingent of police and rangers deployed in the area to control the law and order situation.
On the other hand, some armed motorcyclists tried to snatch a motorcycle from Faisal Masood near Liaqat Abad furniture market. Meanwhile, police reached the spot. Police and dacoits exchanged the firing as a result of which, Imran Siddiqui, got injured. However, he could not survive and succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital. Police said that Imran was companion of culprits and sustained a bullet injury in the crossfire. However, the local residents told that Imran was not a criminal and died from the firing of police. After the incident, the residents of the area pelted stones on the traffic and blocked the road. However, police intervened and resumed the traffic flow.
A girl's dead body was also recovered from a house in Sachal Bilawal Goth. According to hospital sources, the girl was shot dead by a gun fire. Whereas, a man was killed in Gudaap Town by unidentified gunmen.
