LAHORE Pakistan News: The leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N, denouncing the theft of electricity through an illegal electricity connection in PML-N gathering, has poured entire blame on the district administration of Lahore, insisting that the illegal electricity connection, which supplied electricity to Nawaz Sharif's mass gathering from a main electricity supply line of WAPDA, was an action solely done by officials belonging to district government.
Addressing the press conference, they said the district administration of Lahore city linked electricity connection with the main power line of WAPDA for sake of emergency electricity while the PML-N cannot be held responsible for the offense.
MNA of PML-N Khwaja Saad Rafique, provincial minister Mian Mujtaba Shujahur Rehman and PML-N's candidate on NA 123 constituency Pervez Malik held an emergency press conference.
They told a press conference that the mass congregation was held within the premises of Mian Mujtaba Shujah's factory who had also arranged generators for emergency situation but they took illegal connection from main line of WAPDA.
District government is the lone responsible for the crime instead of PML-N, they alleged.
