After meeting with Shahbaz, the PM would head to Karachi where he would take up the issue with CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah. In wake of the resignation of the members from Federal, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Irsa has been rendered non-functional. It merits to mention that, Punjab claimed its right on the water of Jhelum Chashma Link Canal while Sindh strongly opposed the move. Both the Sindh and Punjab governments urged the PM to interfere and get the matter resolved.
