Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that much debate has been done on missing persons and cases about missing persons are being heard on priority basis in Balochistan High Court. Addressing the dinner ceremony of Balochistan Bar in Quetta, he said that judiciary is taking decision independently. He said that lawyers' movement made it possible for the current parliament to work. He said that Parliament has faith in law and constitution.
Earlier, Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Muhammad Sharif said that it is the duty of judiciary and the chief justice to recover missing persons. He said that agencies should made public if any missing person is involved in terrorism activity. He said that missing persons and target killings are major problems of Balochistan.
