The Rangers officials, who brutally murdered a young man in Benazir Park in Karachi, will be presented before a special court on Monday for further remand.
According to sources, Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) has been incorporated in the case in compliance with the Supreme Court orders.
Section 7 of the ATA specifies that whoever commits an act of terrorism whereby the death of any person is caused, shall be punishable, on conviction, with death or with imprisonment for life, and with a fine.
Talking to the media, DIG West Sultan Khawaja refused to comment when asked if he was being pressurised from Rangers authorities.
