Load shedding goes up to 10 hours in Karachi

The faults in the electrical system in Karachi are not being fixed due to dispute that has been going on between the Karachi Electrical Supply Company (KESC) and its workers for about two months now. As a result, the electricity shortfall has started to increase and planned load shedding has gone up to 10 hours while the unannounced load shedding has gone beyond 14 hours.  People in Karachi are facing a consecutive outage of 4 to six hour s at night.
