Pakistan News: Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament Ch. Nisar Ali Khan said that the federal government didn't give any funds to the provincial government for rehabilitation of flood affectees.
He said that it was decided in the meeting of NDMA to immediately give Rs 20,000 to each flood-hit family. He said that Punjab government has started survey to assess the flood damages. Nisar said that government's silence on Altaf Hussain's statement remains dubious. He said it was government's duty to condemn Altaf's remarks but 'we don't want to indulge in blame game as this is the time to help rescue flood affectees.' He said that no political party supported the statement of Altaf Hussain.
