Police Highhandedness: IGP Presents Report in Supreme Court

Pakistan News: SC of Pakistan (SC) is hearing sou moto notice case on police brutality against lawyers in Lahore on Monday. During the hearing, IG Punjab and commissioner submitted the report on Lahore incident. Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chuadhry questioned that why police fired straight at lawyers? He asked to IG Punjab that why scarcity of bar room was violated?

CJP said that sadly police was manhandled later.
