BAHAWALPUR : Security arrangements had been tighten up in the district to avoid any untoward situation during the three-day visit of
Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, said DPO Bahawalpur, Hamayon Basher Tarar here on Thursday. Talking to APP he said barriers had been installed at all sensitive areas of the district. He said police personnel had been deployed at all important places besides setting up check post at all entry and exit points of the district. He urged the police officials to perform their duties effectively, adding that any negligence from their part would not be tolerated.
Main Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is on a three-day visit to Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar khan, Ahmedpur East, Cholistan, Hasilpur, and Bahawalnagar to inaugurate different development projects.
