President's Eligibility Petition Dismissed By Election Commission Of PakistanThe Chief Election Commissioner disposed of the petition as ineffective.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) dismissed a petition challenging the electoral eligibility of President Asif Ali Zardari.

Maulvi Iqbal Haider had filed an application before the Election Commission against the electoral eligibility of President Asif Ali Zardari. ECP demanded for more evidences, and after reviewing the evidences ECP dismissed the application.

The ECP in its seven-page ruling termed the petition ineffective.
