IMF Board Meets To Take Decision Today On 5th TranchePakistan News:The International Monetary Fund (IMF) executive board is scheduled to meet today (Friday) to decide the release of the 5th tranche of $1.2 billion for Pakistan under Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) loan program.

According to experts the tranche is expected to be approved owing to the fact that Pakistan is an important ally of Pakistan in the war on terror and also due to the fact Pakistan is facing several economic challenges. The finance ministry has informed that all the issues with IMF have been resolved.
