Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has reached Bhutan on Tuesday to attend the 16th Saarc summit.
Gilani was given a Guard of Honour when he arrived in Bhutan.
Earlier, the PM stayed for a night in Katmandu and held meetings with the Nepalese president and prime ministers and discussed bilateral ties with them.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministers' meeting is underway to finalize the conference's agenda.
The meeting is being attended by Shah Mehmood Qureshi and seven other FMs of member states.
