Keep it handy when that candidate for governor or the Legislature, or their volunteer campaign worker, knocks on your door between now and Nov. 2. Or drag it out when somebody asks, “What the heck have they been doing in the Capitol for the last two years?”
You can love or hate what Gov. Jim Doyle and Democratic lawmakers have done — often without help from Republicans — over the last 17 months. But there’s no denying they made some historical changes.
