A gang of armed men opened indiscriminate fire early morning at a police check post near toll plaza hear in Saddar Police precinct. Four policemen including the check post in-charge Mushtaq Ahmed were killed in the attack, while another policeman Faisal was seriously injured.
A heavy contingent of police led by district police officer has combed the area to trace the culprits.
The dead bodies and injured policeman have been shifted to Mansehra district hospital.
