Lahore, Pakistan News: Salman Taseer said that if issue of rivers can be settled with India, then there should not be any problem to settle the issue of Kahalabagh dam among provinces. He said that if the dam was not built, south Punjab and Sindh cannot be saved from floods.
In a news conference in Lahore, he said that he had visited camps of flood victims in south Punjab and the camps were presenting bleaker outlook. He urged that rehabilitation of affectees should be made as soon as possible. He said that it was the time to seriously take the issue of Kalabagh dam and a committee should be made for this purpose.
