Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday vowed to fight back anti-democracy elements and make Pakistan further stronger by following the path of political reconciliation and taking along all political forces. “We are standing before the enemies like mountains. It is not easy to defeat us. We have introduced such a political formula, that even if we lose, we will be the winner, and if we win so we will be the winner,” President Zardari said while addressing a large gathering of party workers here on the occasion of 57th birth anniversary of slain PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.
The President expressed his determination to fight back the anti-democracy elements saying, “We will stop their way from all directions.”
He said the government of Pakistan Peoples Party and its allies was working hard to make a stronger Pakistan, and added that the country under democratic structure is stronger than before. “They (the enemies) will have to confront democracy,” the President remarked.
Zardari said it was due to the pursuance of thinking and political philosophy of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed that General (Retired) Musharraf was running from countries to countries. “It is the revenge of her assassination,” he remarked.
