Pakaistan News: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Saturday said that Pakistan has responded to the dossier sent by India vis-a-vis the Mumbai attacks.
Talking to media after meeting with Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal in Islamabad on Saturday, the minister said, 'I called Indian Union Minister for Home Affairs Chidambaram and asked him to allow the commission to visit India to get the statements of the eyewitnesses of the Mumbai attack recorded'.
'Chidambaram said that he would consider the plan', Rehman added. The courts would decide whether to have a video conference with India or not in this respect.
Replying to a question regarding the recent wave of suicide bombing, Rehman said that ‘Al-Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, and TTP, three are one’, and must be behind every terrorist attack in the country. He said directives have been issued for foolproof security arrangements across the country on the eve of Eid.
Referring to suicide bombing in Quetta, the Federal Minister said that anyone could penetrate into a procession consisting 15,000 people.
He called upon Ulema to consider limiting of the procession routes in face of the terrorist attacks.
