ISLAMABAD Pakistan News: Federal Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan has said that the joint parliamentary session has been convened for March 26, Friday in which recommendations prepared by the Parliamentary Committee for Constitutional Reforms (PCCR) will be tabled.
Talking to media men outside the Parliament House, he said President Asif Ali Zardari will also be addressing the joint session on the same day (Friday).
He said the Parliament committee has completed its work and the members of PCCR will affix their signatures on the proposed constitutional package on Thursday.
Babar Awan said the Parliamentary session will continue till the proposed package is approved by the two-third majority.
"The completion of the constitutional committee's work is a welcome development for the democratic forces and the people," he said, adding, the Constitution will be restored to its original position of 1973.
