Senator Pervez Promises To Retract Anti-Media Resolution

Senator Pervez promises to retract anti-media resolution  LAHORE: Punjab government spokesman, Senator Pervez Rasheed has met the officials of Punjab Union of Journalists, where he assures to take back anti-media resolution which was passed in Provincial Assembly.





Senator Pervez has said that resolution against media is not the policy of Nawaz League rather it's an act of single person. On the occasion Chairman of Punjab Union of Journalists (PUJ), Hasnain Tahir has said that journalists don't want a clash with institutions; however they will never accept any sort of assertion and allegations. PUJ and government's five member team will negotiate in this matter today (Saturday).


According to the press statement, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, Finance Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, Senator Pervez Rasheed, MPA Dr Tahir Ali Javed and Secretary Information have been nominated as its members. On the other hand PUJ has announced to observe Black day countrywide and to hold protest against the anti-media resolution.
