Rawalpindi: Core Commanders Meeting Underway At GHQ

The Core Commander meeting is underway under the chair of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at GHQ Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

Kayani apprised the core commanders of the details of the strategic talks held in the US, sources said. Sources added that the meeting would review the Azam-e-Nau war exercises scheduled to begin from April 10 besides the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army.

Regional security situation, Helmand operation, about-to-be-conclude South Waziristan would also be taken up in the meeting besides the rehabilitation and return of the IDPs.
