NOWSHEHRA: Mian Iftikhar Hussain's slain son Mian Rashid Hussain was buried at a local graveyard amid moving scenes here on Sunday. Hussain, 27, was gunned down by three unidentified assailants at a local market in Nowshehra on Saturday night. Earlier, thousands of people, including Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti, provincial ministers and ANP leaders, attended the funeral prayers of Mian Rashid.
PML-N leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Punjab minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman also attended the funeral prayers.
Meanwhile, an FIR was lodged at the Pabbi Police Station against Hussain's murder in the light of statement of Mian Amjad Hussain, who was also wounded in the attack.
Police said that they have nominated three unknown assailants in the FIR
