At least 3 police officials were killed and one other sustained injuries when unidentified persons opened fire at a police check post in Saman Abad area of Lahore. According to our correspondent, police officials stopped the motorcycle riders for checking when they opened fire. They fired 25-30 bullets, killing two officials including a sub-inspector and a constable on the spot. The attackers were riding motorcycle. The injured has been shifted to hospital. Police have cordoned off the area.
