Pakistan Wont Take Dictation on War on Terror: Kaira

Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has categorically stated that Pakistan would not take dictation from any country regarding the launch of army operation in any part of the country, and added that Pakistan is fighting the war on terror for its own interests.

During a press conference in London on Friday, the Federal Information Minister said that the extension in the service period of chief of army staff is done in view of the ongoing war on terror as the change in command would not be conducive in such a situation. He maintained that the presence of army chief was necessary for the continuity of war on terror. He called upon the media to act objectively and responsibly in broadcasting any news on India or Pakistan.
