The prosperity of Pakistan lies in the elimination of terrorism: Zardari

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari said on Friday that the elimination of terrorism and sectarian communities can not achieve development and prosperity of this country and the entire Islamic world.

In his letter to the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him), the President stressed the need for following the teachings of the great martyr on the basis of piety and to refrain from bad deeds.

He said President Zardari as saying in the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) who said: "Hassan and Hussein, God bless them) are the heads of young people the sky. Will be my friend and friend of their enemy and will be my enemy."

Hazrat Imam Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) refused to accept the rule of power, and worked in honor of his grandfather religion.

He expressed satisfaction at the efforts of Imam Hussein, the Central Council to convene a conference on the Shahadat of Imam Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) on 13 February, attended by scientists and religious leaders from all sects.
