Earlier, ex-DPO Chauhan along with six other policemen including Yaseen, Bashir, Ahmed, Nazir, Naseer Ahmed and Muhammad Akram were brought to the court under strict security.
Interestingly, Waqar Chauhan was brought from another entry point to evade media as he was not hand-cuffed.
Special prosecutor Rana Bakhtiar appeared before the court, however the court sent the accused on seven-day remand despite the fact that police did not demanded it. The court rejected Chauhan's request for B-class in the jail.
Later, all the accused were shifted to Sialkot district jail.
