According to sources, following his arrival, Kerry called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani.
According to ISPR sources, Kerry � the Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee of US Senate � shortly after his arrival in Pakistan, held meeting with COAS Kayani and discussed the issues of bilateral interests.
Sources said, he is also scheduled to hold sittings with other key leadership of Pakistan politics during his two-day-long visit.
He will likely to call on President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani to hold discussions pertaining to Pakistan's efforts in war on terrorism, US drone strikes on Pakistan land and the burning issue of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui � detained in US and convicted of shooting US troops in Afghanistan.
