Minor Child Rescued, 4 offenders held in Karachi

KARACHI: Karachi police claimed to have rescued a 3-year-old child, adducted for ransom some 10 days ago from Defense locality here, during raid on a house and also nabbed four criminals over alleged charges of carrying out his abduction. The abductors demanded a total of 20 million rupees ransom money to release the kidnapped child.

According to details informed to media by SSP Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), a joint team comprising officials from AVCC and CPLC conducted a raid on a house located near Hub police checkpost bordering Balochistan province and rescued that minor child who was kidnapped for ransom from Defense limits 10 days earlier.

Police partly also claimed rounding up four criminals over abduction charges from Hub and recovery of arms from their possession, he said.

The apprehended abductors have been moved to unidentified location for further investigation, he further said.
