Pakistan News: Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira says no emotions flared in the speech of PM. He says some anchors are showing irresponsible behavior to such an extent that they use inadequate language, and rather than suggesting solutions, they divert attention from the problems which the country is facing in reality.
After watching the political talk shows in the evening, it feels like government would be gone by tomorrow. PM raised the same point that they shouldn't confuse the people”. He says PM is right to say that we lost precious lives for democracy.
Last Saturday PM delivered a speech in "Achievement Awards Ceremony 2010" organized by Chamber of Commerce Lahore. Due to some loud and glaring voice of PM, some misconceived the speech to be emotional.
PM himself gave all answers to release some pressure: Askari
Senior analyst Hassan Askari while talking to Dunya News said that pressure was building up on the government, so before that media reporters could ask him some questions, he himself gave all the answers in an attempt to temporarily release some pressure.
PM spoke to burry the rumors: Alam
Senior journalist Imtiaz Alam said that lots of rumors are once again being spread, so it was obvious for PM to answer them all. PM's voice was indeed glaring and the purpose was to show that he and President are unified at a single ideology. Every day in the talk shows ministers explain their party policy, but Prime Minister's words have more weight.
A part of PPP wants to replace Gilani with Qureshi: Javed
Senior analyst and anchor person of Dunya News Nusrat Javed said PM's glare is in response to the rumors which are once again being spread. PM didn't take any notice of it, until, Altaf Hussain asked the Army to interfere. Nusrat Javed said that a part of PPP is at consensus to replace Yousuf Raza Gilani with Shah Mahmood Qureshi and World Bank and other donors' are also desirous to see Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh as Deputy PM with full powers.
