KARACHI: Former chief minister Punjab, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi Monday revealed a plot of attack on Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry's convoy in Punjab in May 2007. Speaking in Geo News' programme 'Capital Talk' hosted by Hamid Mir, the former chief minister claimed that the above plot could not be carried out because he had successfully foiled it. Chaudhry Pervez Elahi also disclosed during the interview that he, as Punjab chief minister, had given money from 'Punjab secret fund' even to the people associated with Pakistan Muslim League-N. However, he abstained from taking the names of the people who received the money.
